Adult Education on Sundays
Adult Forum
Using a lecture / discussion format the Adult Forum offers a variety of classes in biblical studies, church history, theology, and social issues. In years past we have offered classes on C.S Lewis, the history of the Episcopal Church, the theory of just war, The Book of Revelation and even Harry Potter. We have also brought in guest speakers to talk to us about the experience of serving in Iraq, meeting the needs of the poor in Columbia and working with ex-offenders. The Adult Forum meets on Sundays between 10:15 and 11:00 in room 102 in the Parish Hall.
Harried... with Children
This forum for busy parents offers a chance for the grownups to relax over a good cup of coffee during the Sunday School hour, visit and listen to a good speaker on topics that are relevant to them during the busy child-rearing years.
Faith and Reason Seminar
The Faith and Reason Seminar is for those with an abiding or even a passing interesting the relationship between the life of the mind and the life of the spirit. Using a discussion format, we examine the tension and interplay between science and faith and the role of reason in shaping a theology for postmodernity. The Faith and Reason Seminar meets every second Sunday.
